An introduction to Lost & Found Guest House and Art gallery

Welcome to Lost & Found Guest House and Art Gallery is situated on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada. Lost & Found is owned and operated by John Bateman and Jocelyn Ferguson, full time residents of Salt Spring Island since 2001. Our building has been newly constructed specifically for the purpose of lodging, exhibiting art and holding functions. It is separate from our primary residence which is situated three hundred feet down our drive. There is lovely alder grove that creates excellent privacy between the two buildings. Inside we have a fully appointed kitchen, a bathroom with jet-tub and washer and dryer. There is one self contained bedroom with a queen size bed and a sleeping nook with a twin bed. This little room can be closed off with a velvet orange curtain. A gorgeous "hearthstone" wood stove is the focal point of the living area and is visible from the built in dining nook. To top it off there is a huge loft with a tv area, two beds and a nice view over the living room....next post I will talk about the other side of Lost & Found...the art work.

  1. I am so happy to have found your blog! I am not sure if you are still continuing with this blog as it is now two years since your first posting. I would like to add a comment and will include your website on my two blogs. My husband Richard and I stayed at your lovely guest cottage a couple of weeks ago - we had a wonderful time. Your cottage is a stone's throw away from our home in North Saanich which is an ideal 'get-away' location for us. Your place is very comfortable, bright and tastefully decorated. Thank you for creating such a lovely environment and we will certainly visit again! Michelle and Richard
